There isn't one, and here's the real reason. Vaelor Design is deliberately lean: no office to pay for, no sales team, no project manager sending you status reports. Modern tools let us move fast without cutting quality.

An agency charges $8,000 because it has salaries and rent to cover — not because your site is worth $8,000 of work. We build showcase sites for local businesses: it's work we do well and quickly, so we sell it at a matching price.

Yes. It's the point we insist on the most. You will never write a line of code. You click on the text you want to change, you type, you press "Update". For a photo, you click on it and choose the new one. It's the same gesture as in Word.

And we record a video made on your own site, where we change your real text and your real photos. You keep it. If you hire someone in six months, you send them the video.

You tell us and it stops there. You owe us nothing, there's no invoice, no cancellation fee, no signed contract. We delete the demo and we wish each other well.

In practice it rarely happens, because before disliking a demo people first tell us what's wrong — and we fix it. Two rounds of adjustments are included before money is even mentioned.

From our first conversation to the demo in your hands: 3 to 5 days. From your "yes" to going live: 1 to 2 more days. So about a week in total.

The only thing that can slow it down is you — if you take ten days to confirm your opening hours, the site waits. We'll follow up gently, without hounding you.

No, and that matters to us. The domain name is bought in your name, with your card, in your account. Same for the hosting. The site files are yours, and we hand them over on request.

If tomorrow you want to work with an agency in Montreal, you give them your access and everything carries on. No serious agency should hold you hostage. Plenty still do.

Yes, and it's actually simpler: we already have your text and your photos. We build the new version alongside, without ever touching the old one. Your current site stays online the whole time.

The day you approve, we switch over — it takes a few minutes and it's reversible. Your customers never see a blank page.

For the Essential package: no. Not one monthly cent is paid to us. You pay us once, on the day the site goes live, and that's the end of it between us financially.

There are monthly costs, but they go elsewhere: to the host that keeps your site running 24 hours a day ($10 to $20 per month, WordPress already installed) and to the registrar that rents you your web address ($20 to $30 per year). You open both accounts yourself, with your card — we walk you through it on screen, at no charge and with no commission.

WordPress and Elementor cost nothing: they're free software. The one exception is WordPress.com, which requires its "Business" plan at around $40 per month to allow Elementor. That's why we recommend a classic host instead.

The Prestige plan is the only case where a monthly fee goes to us: $30 per month, which replaces the hosting and covers management and your everyday changes — and the first month is free. It's a choice, never an obligation — and if one day, with Essential, you'd rather we make a change for you, we agree on it then, per job.

Both give you a finished, professional site. What changes is who looks after it afterwards.

Essential is autonomy: a WordPress + Elementor site handed over to you with video training. You change a photo, a price or a line of text yourself, whenever you want, without waiting on us — and you never pay us another cent.

Prestige is the maximum result without ever touching it: a hand-coded site, like our own, with animations and speed Elementor can't offer, and a free first month of changes to properly settle it in. In exchange, every change goes through us — one email is enough — and the management costs $30 per month, hosting included.

The real question to ask yourself: "Do I want to edit my site myself?" If yes, Essential. If the very idea tires you, Prestige.

That's the case for most of the businesses we meet. The text, we write it. The photos, we source from royalty-free libraries licensed for commercial use — you'll never have a legal problem with them.

As for the logo: we can create a simple, clean one for you in either package. A badly made homemade logo does more harm than a nice name well laid out.

Yes, and here's exactly what that means, because the phrase hides three very different things:

1. An appointment request form. The customer fills in their details and availability, you get it all by email, you call them back. It's free, included in all our packages, and for most small businesses it's more than enough.

2. A real calendar with your availability. The customer sees the open slots and books themselves. This is possible in WordPress with a free plugin — with one honest limit: the free versions generally only accept one service type and one staff member. For a solo massage therapist, that's perfect. For a salon with four people and twenty services, you need the paid version of the plugin, around $100 to $200 per year, paid to the plugin maker and not to us.

3. Booking with a deposit payment. Now we're into e-commerce: it's doable, but it falls outside our packages and we'll tell you so honestly.

And if you already use a system — Clic Santé, Calendly, Square, GOrendezvous — we simply connect it to your site. That's often the best solution: you keep your habits.

Your site exists in two complete versions, French and English, with a small language switcher at the top of the page. Google indexes them separately: a customer searching in English finds you in English.

It's built with a free WordPress plugin, and we write the English version ourselves — you have nothing to translate. You'll then be able to edit both versions by clicking, exactly like the French one.

It's included by default in both packages. In Montreal and Laval, it's almost always worth it. This very site is a working example of it.

Anywhere in Quebec, and elsewhere in Canada. Everything happens by phone, email and video call. We've never needed to sit in a client's office to build their site.
